My journey into skincare  began decades ago with my own pain and frustration. I spent years battling stubborn skin issues, investing time, money, and hope into countless dermatology visits and facial appointments that left me feeling unseen and defeated. Nothing worked—until I decided to take my healing into my own hands.

Driven by the belief that my skin deserved better, I immersed myself in studying the science and anatomy of the skin. Through education, research, and relentless trial and error, I not only transformed my skin—I discovered my calling. I learned how to create real, lasting change using customized, corrective regimens rooted in both knowledge and care. This sparked the urge to take a leap of faith and create what started as Beauty x Davonna, now Davonna Skin Clinic.

As a mother of two beautiful girls and business owner, I deeply understand the pressure to keep giving while putting yourself last. But I also know that true healing starts when we finally decide to prioritize ourselves. When we care for ourselves intentionally, we unlock the confidence to move through life fully, unapologetically.

Growing up in Oakland, California, I watched my mother, Darlene, pour love and precision into every garment she created as a seamstress. Her work wasn’t just about clothes, it was about how women felt when they wore them. She taught me that when women feel seen, supported, and beautiful, they become unstoppable. That same spirit lives in every facial, every consultation, and every client experience at Davonna Skin Clinic.

My clinic has been serving clients across the greater Sacramento area and through virtual services, women nationwide, for close to a decade.
